I've tried searching, but haven't seemed to find any answer. When I google search this question along with Wrangler, Gladiator or even Ram1500, it seems to always come back to the regens. I don't care about the regens. Well, I guess I go, but that is not what I am searching for.
In terms of the DPF filter on our Jeeps. Is there a service interval of actually removing the DPF (unbolting it) and washing it out with water and some sort of cleaning agent? I figured you would backflow the water (opposite way of exhaust gas) to have soot run out the front.
I know regens are supposed to burn soot, but it would be hard to believe that ALL soot is burned off.
