Hi.
2019 JLU. Had doors off for a while. Put back on. Passenger side works as it should as do rear doors. Problem is drivers side door. Power window works. Power lock button does not. Seems like wire issues but checked the connection. When I hit the passenger side lock button or the fob lock button, everything locks.

Any ideas?

Thx

Did you pull the connector back apart and check for bent pins? Apparently some people have bent some pins when they reconnect.

I’m thinking this is the issue. Tried aligning but seems ok

Check the pins at the door disconnect very carefully that are attached to a Green wire with Dark Green stripe and a Beige wire with a Green stripe. Make sure they are straight and can seat into the other end, also check that none of the pins have pushed back out of the connectors (check both sides). Give the wires a little tug at the connectors to make sure they are still locked in place. Some times pins will look seated but not be locked in, when you make the connection one end just pushes out of the connector and doesn't make a good connection.

I keep hoping that a vendor will come out with a better bridge disconnect for the front doors. Similar to how the tow light kits are made but with a better disconnect.

Why the auto industry hasn't gone to using cannon plugs is beyond me, they've figured out busses are a great way to save weight and wiring but still use cheap plastic electrical connectors, probably because of weight and cost. I retrofitted an old 4-runner engine harness with cannon plugs and it made engine pulls a thousand times easier.
