Door harness pins

Jeep needs to recall 2018 Wrangler JLU door harnesses. There is an issue everyrime I take my doors off. They need to at least give us a schematic on what pin controls what function so we know where our problem is.

Jeep needs to recall 2018 Wrangler JLU door harnesses. There is an issue everyrime I take my doors off. They need to at least give us a schematic on what pin controls what function so we know where our problem is.

Happened to me as well. Take the harness apart and look at the pins... Most likely bent a few. You can carefully straighten them out, preferably with a toothpick or other non-metal tool. Don't want to short anything. The plugs have to be perfectly square when you put them back together. Shouldn't be that precise but it is.

I straightened all of the pins and my mirrors don't work and two doors don't lock. Anyone know what pins in each door control within the Jeep?

I unplug mine in the spring and plug them back in in the fall when temps hit 30 ish.
Less chances for problems.

Possible you blew the fuse.

How many wires go into the door? (can't remember) could always clip them all and repin them and run smaller more reliable weather packs or deutsch connectors. Hell, could even go wild and use mil spec twist lock connectors.
