Does Mopar beadlock trim ring affect balance?

If I take off the trim ring (beauty ring) on and off the wheel, do they need to be re-balanced? Thanks!

Those are the actual bead lock rings, not the simulated ones.

yes they do, nearest mopar dealer or moparts online store should have the part # accessible for it.

So do you guys have your tire shops reinstall the simulated bead lock ring and balance at the shop? I worry they'll get antsy screwing in the large number of screws and accidentally strip some...

I did, yes. A local “Tread Quarters” did mine and did a great job after the dealership proved their incompetence.

I highly doubt you will need to rebalance your tires. I've taken rings off and on on multiple jeeps and it had zero impact on tire balance.

I did it at home. It won’t affect balancing.

IMO when you pull the ring off, mark a line on the back (cant see it) where the valve stem is. and which corner its from (1, 2, 3, 4) and then when you put it back... it can go in the same spot. It shouldn't matter after they've already been balanced, but little extra security wont hurt anything and takes 2 seconds to do.
