I think you might be correct. Look very closely to the rims. The blue sahara seems to have the simulated wheels.

I just spent a few k on customs. I am short to spend more $$$ on wheels now. Those wheels are expensive...
Can I add beadlocks on my factory wheels. I have the 20 inches aluminum wheels.
mopar only makes those wheels in 17 inches. They also make them in a different color on the XR package. They also make different beadlock capable wheels you see on the 392. All 17 inches. Short answer, no they dont make beadlock rings on their 20 in wheels.

Okay. I might choose to wrap my wheels instead of paint a ring.

Do you happen to recall any specifics with respect to color name and/or finish with your powder-coated beadlock ring? Yours looks like a great match for Hydro and I’m looking to do the same with mine. Appreciate any assistance you can provide! ??

Getting my Recon beauty rings powder coated red to match my Firecracker red JLURxR. Quoted $140 + 8% hazmat fee for all 5 if they don't have to mask them. $200 + 8% if they do. At that price, I can redo them if I need too. But scars are an honor mark. There's a story behind every scar.
Bumping old thread, but I'm a newer JL owner with the same idea. I am thinking powder coat and just let them be. I bought it knowing I would scratch it so I'm fine with the imperfections. Does a beat up Powder Coating look any better/worse than beat up paint?

Any opinions on color for a Gobi Jeep? I quickly realized that my Jeep is dry mud colored, so if I want the rings to stand out I probably need a different color. Anyone think the Rubicon decal red accent color would be a good choice?

I am partial to body color matching. This is the beauty ring, not the beadlock ring, powder coated to match the body Firecracker red. Since yours is Gobi, I'd match that or go with a red to match the Rubicon logo. If you go with the Mopar Functional Bead Lock Ring Kit , they come in a silver color, which might look good on Gobi. When I go to Mopar beadlocks, I will have them powder coated Firecracker red also.

Thanks! Sorry I misspoke, I would be doing the beauty ring. I think I agree here in that after seeing the side by side, I will go with the body color. I think also since I have the generic hard top, not painted, it doesn't look like it's too much. I get why others want to break up the colors and use the accents.

Also, the beat up powder coating looks great to me. Bought this thing for a reason, not planning on touching up often. Powder coat and let it be.
