Now we're getting there. Wheel spacers are never a good idea. A replacement wheel of the correct width and offset is the answer.

So this above is something I have searched and not found. To use wheel offset instead of spacers. If I want the tire to stick out 1", 2" from the body what offset of wheel do I use?

Look up your factory offset/back spacing and use that as a baseline when looking at new rims. Usually rims with a 4.5" back spacing will give you an inch or two sticking out.

I used 1.75"spacers on factory rubicon rims and get around a couple inches sticking out.

Simple answer no. Long answer, dealers can be petty and try and deny a claim because they want cash, and just hope you'd obey. To make something not warrantable it will have to be directly proven that the spacer lift DIRECTLY caused the failure at hand. Let's say a rear axle seal for example, there is no world where a front coil spacer caused a rear axle seal to fail, none. No let's say there's a rattle noise up front, it's found that the lower shock mount bolt is loose, this would NOT be warrantied as the bolt HAD to be removed to install the spacer, therefore the part is no longer factory installed or covered under a factory defect due to the aforementioned.

I've said it many times but I'll say it again, warranty is not a checkbox or a yes/no listing under your vin, every single part and every single labor of operation applied to an adjustment/replacement/inspection has its own warranty coverage. Installing an aftermarket radio does not rid you of engine warranty coverage. Installing tires does not make you fully responsible for a headlight issue.
