I tend to favor the 3.6 and have one on order. I finally decided as cool as the 392 is I can’t justify the 25k more so it comes down to the 3.6 or the 2.1 phev if I lease the 2.1 I get 12500 in tax incentives. exactly does that work? What happens if I finance out of the lease after a 2or 3 months. Finally what are your opinions on the 3.6 vs2.1 Can I get 200 k miles out of either. Which has the best chance?
thanks

FCA is pushing the 4XE hard. If you are looking for 200k, I would lean towards the 3.6 because of 2 reasons:
1) It has been proven reliable.
2) it is a much simpler design

I am not knocking the non 4XE 2.0 other than it is a much more complicated engine. So far it has been reliable, but I don’t know of any that have that many miles. The 3.6 has many examples of high mileage reliability.

The 4XE For 200k? NO WAY would I even think about it.

I wouldn't even contemplate thinking about trying to get a hybrid, especially a new one to 200k lol

A prius, sure, maybe. They've been doing it for a while.

I’m a believer of “buy what you want, just don’t complain if it’s not what you wanted.” If longevity is what you are after, 3.6 is the way to go. ? (3.6) ? (392)
