This is a really useful thread for me. Just last week, I engaged 4L for the first time (2020 JLUS purchased in July) in a sandy desert wash. It was a bear getting it in, and then even more of a bear getting it out. Glad to know I'm not alone, or doing anything remarkably wrong.
