Wondering what the community experience is with diesel heater options thus far (seems like a newer product category, at least for our application). I know there are numerous DIY methods for making these, but I notice that Lo Lo overland has a turnkey offering (no affiliation...just stumbled across it).

I just got one and put in a pelican case. Haven't camped with it yet but it put out a ton of heat in my backyard!

These type of heaters have become very common in semi trucks. I have one made by Eberspacher or Espar and it works great.

Diesel heaters are best for people who are already running diesel.

Look at the propex 2211 propane heater. There are some youtube video's on why propex are better and how to hook them up with some ducts.

The China diesel heaters are problematic. The good ones are more $$ same price as the propex.

got a 12v accessory plug grafted on to the heater power cable. Happy to report my Jackery 500 runs it without a hiccup. saw 100 watts for a minute or so (glow plug I'd assume), but quickly settled around 20 watts running at full steam.

I plan on installing mine inside (between roll bar and driver's side rear door). I'm hoping to fit the diesel tank and fuel pump under the hood, but I don't know if there's any room with the V6. It would be nice to get it out of the way.
