very new to diesel. In trying to research the EcoDiesel, there is mention of fuel additives. Is this something that is needed for Winter? Is it for water, gelling? Something else?
By way of example, family members have used anti-gelling fuel additives, to good effect, in their VW diesels that are parked outside overnight in our Pennsylvania winters. They're also careful to periodically use the relevant drain to remove accumulated water.
Mention of the foregoing is evident in the 2021 Wrangler owner's manual, as it concerns the diesel engine.
