Has anyone tried the Desert Does It Seat Jackers on a 2024 Rubicon X with the power seats? I emailed the company to ask about compatibility, and they said they hadn't had a chance to check it yet but it "should work."

What are you trying to accomplish?

I don't like the angle of the Jeep seat and even tho I am 6' 2" I have the visual I want and I always feel like I am looking down not out.

So I have some spacers that I put between the seat and the floor. I get longer Grade 8 bolts and insert the about 1- 1/2 in alum spacer. Gets me higher in the Jeep. IIRC I paid $8 bucks for the spacers...

@newbie5150

Did the same, they have the hardware at Ace and Home Depot (bolts / washers) and the aluminum spacers I purchased online for about the same price, except for the shipping cost, BUT I wanted all black hardware... not silver.
Here is a link to the spacers:

https://www.aluminumspacers.com/mas19-10-25-ba

These are made for a 10mm bolt, to its secure and tight, not sloppy like a generic spacer would be.

You can get all the parts for less the $20... vs. What you can spend on name brand jackers.

My Alum spacers are leftovers from lift kits. Back in the early days of lifts they used these spacers between the Transmission/Transfer case....those were the days and we have come a long way since then,

Purchased them for my 22 Rubicon, I'm 5' 10" , I did not care for the seat feel, sold them. Some rave about them . Not me. Good luck !

OP, given that the jackers install between the seat track and the floor pan, I can't see why it wouldn't work for a '24 with a power seat. It will change the angle of the seat by definition, but I can tell you that with the manual seat in my '23 I am able to slide forward and back with no issues with seat jackers installed.

Given that you've already asked the company, I'd roll the dice and if they don't work I would assume the Seat Jacker folks would refund your money.

I‘m 6’3”, so my head was within an inch of the soundbar and I had to crouch to see a stop light. My brother is 6’5 and his head hit the soundbar with the seat in its lowest position.

I chose the “Seat Slammers”. They rocked the seat pan back a bit and bought a little headroom. My brother modified the ratcheting wheel in the seat adjustment mechanism. Mine was an easier modification.

It’s a shame Jeep decided to discourage taller people from jeep ownership. For the last three generations every guy in my family has been over 6‘ tall. None of us had any difficulty fitting in CJ-5s or CJ-7s. People aren’t getting shorter, so it’s hard to understand why jeep interiors are.

I tried the jackers, they were a bit too high so I ended up using 3 or 4 washers under the front bolts and the angle is much better for me.

Have a new 24 and absolutely hate how high I sit in the seat as well as the seat sits flat, there's now reward angle, makes me feel like I'm going to slide out under heavy braking. I thought maybe it was just a me issue but my wife said the same thing. I ordered the kits that do up to a full 2in rear drop. Tracking says I'm supposed to have them Monday and they can't get here soon enough!

I'm 6'1".... Used the original seat jackers on the fronts.... One of the best investments I've done... Night and day difference on longer trips etc...

It kinda sucks having to hack up a brand new vehicle with less than 50 miles on it but I really hate sitting as high up as I do in this new 24 I have. This will be my first Rubi wrangler since 2013 so maybe I've forgotten but I don't recall the seating position being so high in the last one I had.

Their seat slammer kit #2 appears to have nice quality parts and pieces but for a couple little boxes with nothing more than glorified shims and some nuts and bolts I think 500 bucks to do both front seats is pretty excessive and ridiculous. I guess that just shows how much I dislike the front seat position/location.

2024 JLU Rubi non power seat option 2 kit installed on driver side yesterday. Pretty straight forward install but the directions could be cleaned up a little with less wording and more specific but overall a relatively easy install.

I still believe the price is absurdly expensive, like double what it should be, but it does make a huge difference in the comfort of the seat. I'm only 6'0 so not particularly tall but with this kit lowering the read of the seat a good 2-3 inches and slightly raising the front it puts seat in a, much, more comfortable angle. I read where someone said it made it feel like there was more room in theirs and that is true not only are the seats much more comfortable but I feel noticeably less cramped in mine with the seat in its new location.

For anyone installing this kit I wouldn't even bother with trying different heights using the shims just go full option kit 2 using no shims and if it's to low for your liking you have the adjustability to raise the seat with the factory lever the raises and lowers it.
