I bought my JL in July.
I did just speak to Jeep and got a case number but was wondering if anybody else had these issues.
About three weeks ago my Jeep was completely dead. I had it towed to the dealership and they replaced the defective batteries. The next week my check engine light came on. I took it in again. They said it showed an EVAP issue but didn't show a large evap issue or a small evap issue so they just reset the light and hoped that it wouldn't come on again. This morning the light is back on.
My dealership never has loaners so I had to pay for a rental out of pocket and when I bring it in again for this issue it will be the 5th day in three weeks without my Jeep and the fourth day (two days for battery, two days for engine light) I have to take off of work for this.
We've had Jeeps for years so I know what can cause some of the engine light issues. I don't top off, I make sure the gas cap is closed, I even went get gas from a different gas station the last time. I park on flat ground.
I'm getting really frustrated with not having a vehicle, having to pay out of pocket for transportation and having to take off of work.
So has anybody dealt with anything like this before?
