Decal/Wrap Idea: Blacked-Out Uppers

Maybe someone has thought of this already but I couldn't find it... So I put this concept together and am looking for your comments/feedback.

It's basically just blacked-out uppers and modest 4xe side/rocker panel accents b/c I wanted to leverage the black/blue accents that already come with the 4xe's.

I’ve seen it in the real world and it just doesn’t work well. If you have a painted to match hardtop and black out the pillars just between the glass, that looks pretty good.

Maybe it would look better if the roof and windshield frame where both black aswell. Once I get my top colour matched this spring I am just going to get some gloss vinyl between the windows for the in my view, the full window look.

That's good to know...wish I could find a real world example to see too! lol

I always like to follow the body lines, kinda like the half door look offers, which is why I went wider than just the B/C pillars. I guess I'll pause for now and continue to search for pics now that I know they're out there!

It reminds me of a (modern) Land Rover Defender.

Haven't done anything with my JL yet, but had the window connection vinyl on my JT. With a tinted front to match the tinted rears it looked pretty good.
