Found this schematic, but my led halos are not coming on. Anyone got ideas? Brown/white to led + and black to the led -.. should work. The light works fine and the daytime running light works fine too. Scratching my head on this one.. thanks

Not thrilled about this response, but it appears the Oracle LED light housing (7") solution with halo can not be driven by the DRL circuit..

------e-mail from Oracle Lighting - Combined two emails Justin Perret, Oracle Lighting Product Specialist, fantastic resource and a wealth of information -----

Just to clarify, you won’t lose your DRL function with these lights. You’re just not able to draw power for the halos from the DRL circuit. All you need to do to get the halo to turn on is either of the options I stated in my previous email.

We are going to do a separate instructional for the lights with halo as the video we did initially was without. You won’t be able to use the DRL circuit on this model. There’s only two ways to power the halos on the JL:
  • Direct to battery with an in-line toggle switch
  • Connect to switched power in the fuse panel (There are fuses that cycle power with key on/off)
------ End ------

Good People out at Oracle, but not willing to take their product back after misrepresenting their install instructions (disappointing considering how great their customer service has been to date). The Halo install instruction video on their website says to connect them right into the Brown/White wire of the DRLs. Easy install. Appears that its not an option, so now to consider other options. ANd yes, before you ask, I pushed back and asked to RMA, but they appear to be resistant due to the fact the product was already installed (headlights work great). Anyone have an idea where else I can tap into a "Switched Power" accessory without wiring to an AUX switch (don't want to waste one of the three I have left) or running one into the fuse box?

Ugh I wish I had seen this post sooner. I got mine from Jeep Federation and I am having the exact same issue. "Oh, just use self tappers/splicers - DRL is white/brown wire and turn is white/green wire." Seemed easy enough so I was drawn to the kit for that reason. Well, I did exactly what their YouTube vid showed... the halos don't work, and now my actual DRL doesn't work either.

Can you post the video you speak of? I was interested in getting the oracle oculus bi led headlights, but this post makes me question it.
