One more thing: the video quality is great for a dashcam, but a GoPro is much, much better.
Yes GoPro for trails!

My son has a LiFePo4 in his KTM adventure bike. When cold, he has to keep hitting the starter to warm the battery so it will turn over/start. Repeatedly hitting the starter puts a near short on the battery causing it to produce heat.
Consider just turning the Ignition to On, which should in turn cause the headlight and taillight to illuminate. This will cause a voltage draw necessary to wake up a lithium battery, so to speak, which should then allow normal engine cranking. That's the Go To method that I and others have recommended for years now. This method is most effective when the bike has halogen lighting.

What your son is doing may be causing premature and unnecessary wear on the starter motor. Just a suggestion. 👍
