I own a few different JL's and have not had any issues. Until now. I recently bought a 2018 JLUR (I know first year bugs) But I could not turn my back on it. Went on Auction for hail damage. Top survived. Windshield broken, hood beat up. But hardly anyone bid on it. After bid, fees, and taxes I picked it up for $6500 and only has 78k miles on it. So it will become my oldest daughters ride. Anyway replaced glass and buddy found a used hood that he painted up for me, it looks great now. It has some dash issues though.

95% of the time when I start it. The settings I have set for left, right, and center get reset and it will not hold what I set. This happens in junction with it telling me that the outside temperature is 800 degrees, the heated seats will not stay on, and the passenger side tires lose TPMS signal. The other 5% of the time it's fine.

Appreciate any advise to get it figured out.

I had a 2018 Rubi JLU with no problems but if those issues are important for you to fix, it sounds like you have an electrical/computer gremlin or two that requires specialized skills to troubleshoot. Looks to be repeatable so a qualified technician or a dealer should be able to run it down for you. Speculation only but the heated seat issue may be due to a faulty outdoor temp sensor (heater comes on at 40 degrees) and that coincides with the 800 degree temp indicator. Best of luck.
