Delaminating Issues with 8.4 Screen

My dealer has ordered a new 8.4 radio because the screen delaminated. Jeep Cares said they upgraded the screen because they had many issues regarding the screen. Does anybody have the same issues?

Nope, I have had no issues. My 2018 8.4" screen is still like new. Got a pic? I also have the Mopar screen protector in place but not sure if that would have helped your issue or not.

So it's hard to see but the lower left of the picture is a ball shape that was delaminated/ Jeep Cares said they upgraded the screen about a year ago. It was doing that because of high heat in certain areas. Makes sense since i live in FL and my soft top is off most of the year. Pay no attention to the white spot thats the reflection.

Nope, I have had no issues. My 2018 8.4" screen is still like new. Got a pic? I also have the Mopar screen protector in place but not sure if that would have helped your issue or not.

Here’s a picture take a look at the bottom left and you can see
the white in the middle is a reflection Jeep cares said it happens in high humidity I live in Florida with my soft top off most of the year

I have issues also. I have to turn it off because it goes crazy. How much did it cost to get it fixed?

I haven't had that with mine, but it's been a known thing for a while until they developed a new screen.
