Dash lights/graphics went black

Hello Jeepers...I need your help please! My Jeep Wranger Sahara's dash interface (the one right in front of the steering wheel, not the GPS/media panel) went black. I can't see my GPS directions, speed, mileage, etc. Is this a fuse thing? Appreciate any help you can offer!

Is this a fuse thing?

Could be.

But it is also possible that you have bad/dying batteries. You have a 2018 and are past due for new batteries (main and auxiliary if you have one). They are known to last about 3 years in the JL. Dead batteries cause all types of weird electrical issues on the JL.

Echoing the comment regarding battery replacement possibly being indicated here.

If or when you speak with a dealer regarding this issue, describe it as "the central TFT screen". Using the correct lingo can sometimes speed things along.

TFT = Thin-film-transistor. It's the technology that allows hi-res color displays on LCD screens.

Not necessarily. My mention of you having a convo with a dealer was just a hypothetical, to assist with the diagnosis process, and/or if you use them for battery replacement services (irrespective of whether or not the vehicle's warranty is active.)

No warranty has ended.

Just to rule out the obvious, have you tried the instrument panel dimmer control to see if it was accidentally moved?

Mine periodically goes dark. So far it has always come back by the next day. Curious if yours stays dark tomorrow.

@Cricket In Cruz has your issue been resolved? Im having the same issue, mine is a 2020 JL and recently the cluster went out. I changed both the main battery and the auxiliary battery and still same issue.
