Dash lights randomly go black then on again

My dash lights and 7” screen randomly go black then a few seconds later come back on. Battery cables seem tight. Anyone else have this issue? How did you fix it? TIA

Open the hood. Open the cover for the fuse box. One by one, press down on each fuse and relay to make sure they are seated properly. The JL Wrangler is known to leave the factory with loose fuses and relays, causing all types of weird electrical issues.

One crazy thing to check...I had my dimmer/ done light turned all the way down(had doors open for a couple hours)... forgot to turn the switch back on.....
Was close to sunset, in the shade while driving the dash lit up... drive into some sunshine and the dash went dark...
Just check the dimmer switch first..

When I first got my new JL a couple months ago, I had the same issue, until I realized that the dimmer setting for “Headlights On” was all the way down. So every time the auto lights turned on (heavy shade, or pulling into my garage, etc) the dash lights went almost fully dark. At dusk, my auto headlights turn off and back on fairly frequently while driving around, depending on which direction I’m facing, or driving on a well shaded road, so the dash lights would go dark, then back to bright each time until I finally realized what it was doing and changed the settings.
Hopefully it’s something simple/similar for you!

I have the same issue. The dealer has my jeep today Sep 3rd and will let you know if they find anything. Last time they tried to recreate by spraying water in the eng compartment. Happens more frequently when it is raining out. I had the same typical loose fuse issue which I took care of months ago.

Im having the same issue of cluster going blank or portions of it not showing up.
