Thanks, this is very helpful! Interestingly enough, a dash cluster arrived the day after the dealer told me April 5th. That being said, they had it from Dec 19th until January 11th, so they are dangerously close to the lemon law issues based on the information you posted. Thanks again! Most states' lemon laws would get you a whole new vehicle for that delay.
For example, Colorado's states:
It also applies when the vehicle is out of service for repairs for a cumulative total of thirty (30) or more business days during the warranty term or one year after original delivery, whichever comes first. You appear to be in Michigan, and their law also states:
The vehicle is out of service because of repairs for a total of 30 or more days or parts of days during the term of the manufacturer's express warranty or within one year from the date of delivery to the original consumer, whichever comes first. This option does not require the same problem to be the cause of the days out of service.
The new dash cluster seems to be working with no issues. Michigan is expected to get pretty cold over the next week or so, so fingers crossed that fixed it. I will post again if it doesn't.
