A good local shop did my regear for bigger tires and they installed an OX electric rear locker. I’ve never used one before. The Tacoma TRD I had before this had them but I never had a need to use them.
I put it on stands. In park, tires rotate like an open differential. When I activate the locker, they don’t spin at all. Engine off, transmission in park, differential in 2wd hi.
Is this normal? How can I test if it’s working? I’ve only got about 70 miles on the break in and I don’t want to mess anything up by trying it out driving.
