I think I’m ready to swap out to another steering setup. The tie rod and drag link make all kinds of clicking and clunking noises driving down the road. I have reviewed the torque specs and all. The issue I’m having is the noise. I can grab both tie rod and drag link and rotate them and it makes the same clicking/clunking sound I hear while driving.
Anyone have a suggestion or should I just look at a different setup? I am eyeing the steer smart tie rod and drag link, and possibly their stabilizer based on some reviews that their tie rod and drag link don’t rotate like my current ones do.
All of this is in a 2022 jlu Willy’s xr. 2.0T
My full setup installed December 2023 with about 10k miles on them.
-Clayton 3.5” lift
-Currectlync steering
-Falcon adjustable stabilizer.

Future planning I am looking at the fusion 60 axles, and pcs hydro assist. Am I wasting my time and money and just move up to the new axle / hydro assist steering setup?
