Situational Brief:
When I received my Rubico from the dealer on May 28th I already knew what mods I wanted. As Rough Country was a sponsor here, It was an obvious pick. I called them and ordered 1) the tailgate table for when I go fishing, it's great for the camp stove

Well, the table was delivered within 3 days and was the easiest install I have ever done. However no steps. I called and spoke with them and they said the steps were back-ordered. Damm. OK, I will wait for them to come in. 1-week, 2-weeks, 3-weeks, now we are in July. I called them again and they told me the same answer. There is a shortage due to the COVID shut down. I understood as many automotive items are back-ordered due to the pandemic. I said I was sorry, but I have to move on. They refunded my money promptly and I called Extreme Terrain and this time I asked if they had the N-Fab Cab Length RS Nerf Side Step Bars in stock? They had the steps and shipped them within 2-days WOW!

Unpacking them I discovered the one end cap for the main pipe was broken off. This was getting frustrating. Now I had both OME rails off, one side installed, and this?? I called Extreme and spoke with Rachel at customer service. Being frustrated with this, I was loaded for bear on this one. She was great, she tamed this wild assed guy like a pro. While on the phone with her, she contacted N-Fab and they said no problem they would send me the cap.
Well, long story short I received 4 caps within 2-days

Lesson learned:
Don't blame the vendor for the COVID automotive part shortage. Both Rough Country and Extreme were wonderful and did the best they could.

That's one of my biggest gripes about ordering online....when they don't tell you an item is on back-order in the description, but wait until after the order is placed and they have your $$. And then sometimes you have to actually call them (like the OP) after a few weeks of no delivery for them to say "oh, that item is on back-order with an estimated shipping date in another 6 weeks"....smh. And of course, everything is blamed on COVID....
