I am thinking about ordering a JL through one of the below invoice dealers and having a courtesy delivery to my local dealer. Anyone have any experience doing this? Are most local dealers willing to take a courtesy delivery? What are the typical additional costs for a courtesy delivery?

Thank you for any input.

There should be zero additional cost. It's called a "courtesy delivery" for just that reason.

I would highly doubt it any local dealer would be willing to have a new jeep that you didn’t buy from them delivered on their lot for nothing! Just saying, in my opinion it would be kind of an uncomfortable situation, just to even ask! ??

I'm not sure of the correct terminology, but dealers are sometimes forced into "courtesy" deliveries for vehicles purchased through the various programs to support American's abroad. As I understand it, the local dealer has no say in if they allow it or not. So it can be done.

I've found that stopping in, buying a coffee mug and making a pal or two at a dealership goes a long way.
