I installed the Corsa exhaust (#21013) on November 27, 2020. I've driven less than 200km on it since and look at how badly it's rusted so far. This is very disappointing. They advertise as using "heavy-gauge, premium-grade stainless steel ". This is just 1 month of usage and under 200km!!!

I've sent them a warranty claim...let's see what comes out of it.

This is typical of most SS exhausts. Especially in Canada and the North East US. Prior to installing my SS exhaust I sprayed it with High temperature clear and so far there is no visible rust.

My Corsa (MOPAR version #P5160244AA) exhaust does not look like the rusty versions shown - I live in west Michigan also. It was installed upon delivery 11/4/2020.

Interesting.

It's 409 stainless which has 90% of iron content. Just stick a magnet to it. You want 304 stainless. That will never rust but will be double the price.

Stainless steels come in many different grades. Most OEM exhaust are 409SS, which will get a surface layer of rust, but that is generally as far as it will go. 304 and 316 may not rust if they are passivated after manufacture (unlike), but will likely show pinpoint rust spots in time.
