  2. Jumperless Aux Battery Bypass

Thank you all for the information!!!! I just did the F42 pull and negative disconnect...and my ESS light lit up on the dash. Perhaps my ESS battery was draining the main for a while, because it's only showing 12.3V on the dash. Going to try to charge it up as per suggestions by Fudster above and...

Can a fire extinguisher fit on the MMP with a Shorty Jacker on the driver side?
  4. Which first, lift, or bigger tires?

Wheels are +0 offset and never rubbed when offroading. But obviously, it's better with a small lift.

  6. Which first, lift, or bigger tires?

Which one will bother you more? Big tires and no fender gap? Or small tires and big fender gap? The Rubi can fit 35 stock. I ran 315/70R17 for a year before getting the AEV 2.5RT lift. here’s a before and after lift photo. Both on 35s.
  7. Vibration in the cold?

    It’s when it’s idling.
  8. Vibration in the cold?

No codes. No lights. It’s noticeable only when it’s freezing cold. It was windy and below 0F that time I experienced it. Drove it today and it was normal even tho it was 20F.
  9. Vibration in the cold?

Was driving last night in 0F and the engine was vibrating a lot at idle. It was fine when I fired it up. Drove in 4wd for about 15min and stopped at the lights. Engine temp seems normal but the vibration was worrisome. Is this normal for the 3.6? It only has 12,000mi on it.
  10. Check Engine

Thanks. Those parts are cheaper than paying the dealer for a diagnostic...I'll start with those.
  11. Check Engine

Did that fix your issue? My P0441 keeps coming back on. Like you, I didn't want to pay the standard diagnostic fee to the dealer if I don't have to.
  12. Overland Jeeps

I've been using the RhinoRack Backbone with QR legs and Pioneer Platform for 2 years now. No issues and seems solid. The most I've put up on the roof is about 180lbs of gear (RTT and basic awning) and it worries me when I go on fire roads...let alone real shaky off-roading.
  13. JL - which hitch for bike rack

I can 100% say that with the Thule T2 Classic...you do not need an extension with the DrawTite 76104. And this is with a +0 offset 35" spare.
  14. JL - which hitch for bike rack

from etrailer.com's description, the 76104 receiver is 6.5" long.
  15. JL - which hitch for bike rack

Yes, that was the idea....but i'm not sure if the extra little bit makes a difference.
  16. JL - which hitch for bike rack

I have the Draw-Tite 76104 Class III hitch. It sticks out about an inch from the OEM steel bumper. I use a Thule T2 without an extension.
  17. Jeep Mods Special for your Dog

I ride with my Shiba Inu puppy quite often. 2 things I cannot live without. 1.) Center Arm Rest cover 2.) ThinSkinz door protector I have him in a harness and leashed to the seat rails on the bottom. Right now I'm using a Ruffwear harness, but planning on buying a car crash rated one like...
  18. Check Engine

Did you ever figure out what the issue was? Mine just threw this code and I checked the obvious gas cap. I cleared it with JScan and it came back on after 1/2 tank of driving.
