CoolTech Towing Harness Kit Install

[Jeep Generation]

Finished all of the wiring and install of the @CoolTech Towing Harness Kit. Nice easy, clean install. So if you want to tow your Jeep behind of an RV, here is a great solution!!!

I decided to tuck the 6 pin socket behind my Poison Spyder bumper to keep it safe and hidden from rocks and obstacles. Just need to run the connection cable through the skid plate holes and plug it in. Flip the switch, good to go!!!

I am working on a full step by step install video for anyone who might want to check it out. Mainly for the wiring aspect of it. I should have it done in a couple of day. I will post it here.

Thanks Kevin! This really helped me with the install on my new Jeep! My 2021 Sahara was a little bit different on the wiring harness cover (no need to remove 3 screws), everything else was smooth.

Nice Job on the install video. I do have one problem on my 2018 wrangler JL the brake lights are not working from a 7 pin to a 6 pin . The running and turn signals are working but not the brakes. I do have a seperate stop light wire on my RV. How does the hook up work to make the brake lights work independant of the turn signals.

Bumping old post to simply say thank you to the OP. Your video was more informative than the instruction manual. I cross referenced both as I installed the harness. Highly recommend watching the video before attempting this project. I also have Sahara (4xe) and did not need to remove nuts from wiring harness.
