Hi, I’m at an absolute loss here. Since march of 2023, my now ex husband has put in LED headlights and ever since then no matter what myself or a dealership does, I’m constantly throwing codes and it eventually makes my 2019 unlimited sport useless. The headlights have been rewired, everything is wired correctly, and I have anti-hyperflash modules on the wa.y. Tonight my wrangler threw 15 codes, some talking about my CAN BUS and one talking about my LIN BUS systems. I will post the notes screen that I have of every code it has thrown from the beginning to now. I really need a fix to this and soon. Side note: the light bar and cube lights are NOT connected so they can’t be an issue as of now. I just started a new job and I really need reliable transportation.( this is my only vehicle) I don’t have money to take it to a shop, so if I can do anything at home, please let me know. I have three mechanic friends who work on mopar that can help me, I just can’t expend so much in a shop fixing it…

Replace the green star connecter located behind your glovebox. Common issue on 2018/2019 model years. Remove the glove box and it's right there, easy 5 minute replacement.

Did the star connector help? I have some ideas if it did not.

What alphawolff said. Mine was doing the exact same thing. Swapped in a new canbus and it's been flawless ever since. $8 and 10 minutes to fix (although I have heard the part is closer to $70 now for some reason).

I found my two spares on eBay. The original listing has long since disappeared.

Here's the original product description:
ETE 2-2272352-5 Connectors LOT OF 2 PER ORDER

I paid $13.77. A cursory search on the googles returned Out of Stock at a variety of sellers...except here...for one.

Good luck.

Those are made about 10 miles from where I sit as I type this out. That price is insane - I paid $8ish 2ish years ago.

I see them for about that price but not in stock except for one site that my antivirus says is unsafe. I guess I’ll keep looking. Thanks
