Sometimes I like to open the doors and listen to the radio, even with ACC the drivers door constantly chimes. Is it possible to turn it off? Seems like an RV vehicle should have that feature.

No...its a Jeep take the door off or roll down windows and turn volume up.

With ACC on door doesnt chime, click button twice, but why? Your going to smoke your battery.

Get bluetooth speaker if all else fails

Made me think of something - OP could unplug the door connector so Jeep thinks the door is off, thus disabling the chime.

Yes that too...but the Jeep( or any other vehicle) aren't portable bluetooth speakers.

Want music? Get a bluetooth. Simple

True, but the Alpine system sounds pretty sweet too! I like your idea, I have a Jawbone Jambox that I just might have to start carrying with me. It's not great but generally serves its purpose.

Thank you for the info. I wasn't able to pair my Bose soundlink micro with the Jeep Uconnect. Is that possible? I did my iPhone no problems.

I did unplug, just to give it a go. Also I can turn up the music loud enough to drown out the chime, lol, it works.

Removing your doors should take care of this issue.

Lol

I have Sirius radio and could play it on the speaker.

I have Sirius as well.

Download the Sirius app and use from your phone to your bluetooth speaker.

Or use Pandora or iHeart or whatever else app you so please.

Using your jeep for music while it's parked or not running is just not practical.

Use a screwdriver, pen, or something similar to close the latch on the door. This will give you the desired result and is very easy to do. Just remember to pull on the handle to “open” the door before actually trying to close it or it will give a loud thud. Lol
