I noticed that the central color display that handles the navigation, radio, settings and such does not come on when I start my Wrangler Sport S. The first couple of times I played around with the knobs and dials trying to figure out why it was not on but this morning I timed the period it took for it to automatically come on, and it was 30 seconds. OK. There is a 30 second "time-on" delay when starting our Wrangler Sport S. No problem. I will change the setting.
Except there does not seem to be a setting for the "time on", only for the "timeout", so is there some way to get the display to actually start when the Wrangler is started? I searched through the manual, but found nothing, and I searched through the threads here but found so many threads matching color display that I just gave up. Is this just the way it is?
The display is the "UConnect 4C NAV with 8.4 inch display" according to the window sticker documentation, and it is on a 2022 Wrangler Sport S.
