I’m pretty sure you said you have done all this but just in case. With the GPS sync time disabled and no phone in the vehicle I would be curious to see what happens. It would at least eliminate one thing for the dealership to blame the issue on.

I have tried it with no phone in the vehicle and the clock still changes.

Bummer. But at least you’ve eliminated that as something the dealership could claim was the cause.

I would think knowing what time it is at the location you're currently at would be a good thing.
A watch set to your home time on your wrist would solve that issue.
Maybe you haven't noticed, but a significant portion of our population stopped wearing watches a decade or so ago. I haven't worn one for about ten years, yet you can still see the imprint on my wrist.

Yes, it'd suck to live close to a timezone border where you're never quite sure what's being rendered on your clock.

Well I am old fashioned and I do wear a watch, but rarely look at it when I am driving. Therefore knowing what time it is on my huge display would be nice. What is not nice is not knowing if it switched or not. I drive across multiple county lines each day. Very annoying, especially when my 2020 worked just fine, other than the engine blew up at 130,000 miles.

So you agree having a watch would be helpful in this situation.
As far as I have seen they are still making watches, even ones with adjustable wrist bands so they fit you correctly.

Fit correctly? Protect a section of your skin from the sun with a strap of leather for a few decades, then see how long it takes for that "baby skin" to match the surrounding skin that has been in the sun for decades. I has nothing to do with wrist bands fitting correctly.

What are you on about? 😂 I wore a watch for four decades and you couldn’t tell from looking at my skin. Maybe you need to see a dermatologist…..🙌

AI Overview

To fix a Jeep clock that keeps changing across time zones, you can disable the GPS-controlled time setting in your Uconnect system's clock settings and set the time zone manually to your preferred location. Alternatively, if the clock is resetting itself after being turned off, a low car battery or a failing Uconnect system could be the cause, and you may need to check your battery or update the Uconnect system firmware.

To manually set the time zone:
  1. Power on: your Jeep to the run mode.

  2. Tap the clock: on the screen to access its settings.

  3. Navigate: to the clock settings through the controls, then settings, and then clock.

  4. Disable the GPS or automatic time setting: and choose to manually set the time zone.

  5. Select: your desired home time zone.
If your clock resets when you restart the car:
  • Check your battery:
A low or failing battery can cause the clock and other electronic systems to lose their settings and reset.

  • Update Uconnect:
An issue with the Uconnect system, sometimes related to an update, can cause the clock to reset. Check for available firmware updates on the official Jeep website or contact your dealer for assistance.

  • Check for interference:
While less common for time zone issues, other electronic interference could be disrupting the signal the clock uses, especially if the clock has poor reception.

Still not fixed, Jeep says that's the way the new ones are. Seems to be a terrible answer.

New guy here. Just bought a 25 Sahara and live near Metropolis Illinois. We cross I-24 into Paducah Ky. several times a week for goods and gas and stuff and our Jeep changes time.

We’re no where NEAR the time zone border.

It thinks the Ohio river is changing time zones. Haven’t synced a phone yet, just thought this was weird.

Hmmm.... The clock in my Jeep never changes time after crossing time zones. I have to make the change with the "+/-" buttons each time. Not sure of the settings.

Wish I could get mine to stop changing, It's making me not like my new Jeep. Seems like a minor detail, but so frustrating.
