My clock switches every time I drive into a different time zone, which sometimes is numerous times a day.
I have it turned off to sync with the gps and on my phone.
I prefer it to stay in my home time zone so this makes me crazy!
Any suggestions?

If it is synced to your phone, which also is likely switching time zones there isnt likely anything you can do. Your best bet is probably going into the settings and just locking it to your home timezone.

My phone does not switch time zones, that is turned off also. My dealership has a call into Jeep, but they haven’t bothered calling back. I’ve had this Jeep for a week, brand new 2025.

There’s a setting in my ‘23 to change the clock settings. Maybe play around with the settings, check your owners manual or maybe ask in google. 🤷‍♂️

I have done all of the above my phone and my clock are both set to not change which has not stopped it from changing. Even the Jeep dealership contacted Jeep and they told them that that’s just the way it is. That is an unacceptable answer to me.

If it has an option on the menu of the radio itself to take it off of GPS time, do so. You are in an area that is at the edge of the central time zone, and the only tiny part of northern Indiana that isn't in eastern time. Simply driving a few miles could cause it to move forward one hour, based on where the GPS believes you are.

I’m pretty sure you said you have done all this but just in case. With the GPS sync time disabled and no phone in the vehicle I would be curious to see what happens. It would at least eliminate one thing for the dealership to blame the issue on.

I would think knowing what time it is at the location you're currently at would be a good thing.
A watch set to your home time on your wrist would solve that issue.

I know I fought this issue for a while on my 2024 Uconnect 5 and gave up and just use wireless Android Auto so the clock displayed is the one from my phone. I live in central and work in eastern and like you, I like my clock to stay on one time so I don't have any confusion. I think it is a bug in Uconnect 5. I don't remember it being an issue in the 2018, 2019, or 2023 Uconnect 4 Wranglers I had.

When I cross from mountain to central and back, it can take several miles for the time on my phone to change.

My Jeep has a base radio, and no SXM, so it never changes, unless I change it.

Thank you I’m wondering if it’s not a needed update because I had issues today with the GPS also🤦‍♀️
