Climate Control question

Greetings! On the first startup after hours of sitting, generally either overnight or when I'm leaving work, the climate control can take a while to initiate. Usually between 10 and 25 seconds after engine start. This is my first vehicle with a fully computer controlled CC system so I'm just wondering if this is normal because the computer has to boot up? Or should I bring it up next time I'm at the dealer? I have the 7" uconnect4 system.

Yes, it's normal

Totally normal. It's not a boot up thing, the computer doesn't want to blow the overly hot air that's been sitting in the vent tubes on you at full blast. It circulates the air slowly at first to circulate some fresh air in the vents before cranking it up. In the summer it also gives the A/C a chance to cool the air.
