Clicking noise when turning.

Any word on what this issue is from your dealer?

I need to look on the sheet again but something to do with the coil or mount. He said he had to order a part so I go back July 12th.

Yea it didn't really say exactly what and the service writer I talked to mentioned something with the coil. So not sure.

Update on my clicking problem. I needed an entire new front left hub assembly. Had to drive around with the dealer mechanic to show them. Unfortunately needed to be ordered.

The Mrs told me yesterday while I backing out of the garage and turned the wheel she noticed a clicking from up front ( she was outside )

We ran a few errands and I stood out front and had her turn the wheel in both directions and heard nothing so either it’s not all the time or I’m deaf and can’t hear it

Will add this to my tiny list to have the dealer put on my service record.

I can confirm that there is a very light clicking coming from the front end on the drivers side, had the Mrs back out of garage and back down then pull to other side of drive requiring her to turn the wheel sharply to the left and heard two maybe three distinctive clicks and then do it again but turn the wheel to the far right and did not hear them, it’s a clicking that’s not very loud and easy to miss if you are not paying attention so not sure what it could be, I have no issues with the steering as in it rides down the highway at 60-70 in a very straight line with no pulling to one side or the other and no play in the wheel at all and even parked if you turn the wheel fully in either direction it turns very smoothly and there is no clicking while parked and running turning the wheel.

My plan is to mention it to the service folks when I take it in for the cruise recall along with the rear nozzle drip and the hot air blowing intermittently from inside with the A/C on, if you guys think it’s a serious issue with the steering I will gladly drop it off sooner.

Took mine jeep in friday for the same clicking sound they are going to replace the u joints will go back next friday to get them replaced.

Replace your U joints? Geez. Dealer printed off that Mopar lift TSB for me. Talks about customer describing a clicking noise. Waiting for the part still but I’ll report back as well.

I don’t have a lift and my Sahara is all stock and have the clicking when turning the wheel so when I take it in for the recall work I have a list of things I am going to tell them about

Agreed this definitely isn't a lift caused issue but it was noted on that TSB as well. I am taking mine in on the 9th to get it looked at and so far I've seen a few different solutions mentioned in this thread from u-joints, ball joint, replacement front hubs so who knows. Not sure if everyone who has had it serviced has seen the problem disappear or not

I figured the isolator wouldn't be the culprit since a lot of people are reporting clicking noise that don't have the Mopar lift. I just didn't know if anyone who has had this problem "fixed" by their dealer can report back that the clicking noise at low speed has gone away

I put the new isolator on today. It did NOT fix the clicking noise. I didn’t think it would.
