I just found out my passenger side, side marker, has failed. All the replacements show as amber colored lens. My Rubicon has factory full LED lighting. I looked at a few aftermarket clear lens side markers but $99.00 is bonkers for what they are and don't give the proper factory look, ether lens patern or light output.

What is the factory part number for ordering the correct part?

Hi,
Are you the original owner of the vehicle? All I see available from Jeep is an orange lens. Perhaps someone swapped this with an aftermarket set.

For reference a 2019 2 Door Rubicon below

Hi,

I am the second owner. I guess the original owner swapped out the oem orange ones at one time, when doing rear reflector to oracle reverse lights and 9" stubby antenna. Though I have stumbled upon a few white JLs with white front side markers... thinking it was a standard LED for white JLs. Now for the big bugger.... they look so OEM in looks and how they perform when on. Almost like they are orange lens until turned off.

I may have to dissect the thing and do a board level repair. I won't be happy replacing both for something not as good a match to what is inplace imo.

Thanks!

Every clear type looks like an aftermarket. I am anal retentive with led looks. Even some various oem makes have the look of Chinese addons.

I changed mine to smoked color. I will have see what brand I used. I will say that they a pain in the ass to replace so go with quality or OEM brand.

Yep they all look cheezy in regards to bright lines or a dot matrix appearance. I'll take a picture of my working one to show how well it equals stock... other than the failed one.

There is some glare from phone flash below the light source behind the lense.

I will attempt to repair the bad light this Friday. Weather permitting.

The Oracle clear LEDS look OEM and fit perfect; only downside for me is they're yellowing after 1.5 years :(

Ok, I pulled my bad passenger side clear marker light. Found that it is a Diode Dynamics branded marker light. I noticed, when removing the connection, that the connector was loose from not being fully seated. Obviously VA winter chills and rain eventually took its toll and made a loose electricall connection become a no connection.

I thought Jeep had a light warning system for bad bulbs. Well I never got any indication about the side marker being bad.

Easy fix was to reseat the connection fully engaged.

I can live with it for now.
