I have a 2022 JLURD with the factory plastic front seat back and molle webbing.

I'm looking at PRP seat covers which leave the back of the seats exposed. I'm also looking at Bartact seat covers that would cover up the factory molle webbing and plastic. Not sure which style I prefer. The factory setup looks better IMO, but having it covered may be easier to clean.

Anybody have thoughts on how the factory seat back and webbing is to clean? Think kids kicking it with muddy shoes.

Thanks!

Keeping them clean is a PITA. Add some sunscreen marks to the mix and it becomes almost impossible. I got covers that go over the plastic and webbing so I don’t have to worry about it

I would try a damp rag to gently wipe off any dirt. When dry, use some slime (I used store bought), it gets in the little nooks and grabs hard to reach dirt. Then put some armor all on a rag and wipe down the plastic.
I'm sure there are better options than this out there tho.

Well since you asked. LOL I spray scotchgard (water repellant) and
Scotchgard Water and Sun Shield Fabric and Upholstery Protector
on any cloth and sprayed some on my molle area that is not being used from the things I have hanging on there. I do ride with the doors and top off for about 7-8 months here in Arizona. Helps with the hard sun-no fading on the seats. Hope it helps. Keep the Jeep wave going.

Is it a royal pain to clean them, or no big deal?

Smittybilt seat covers have a removable panel in the back so you can cover the MOLLE or have it exposed.

I bought a used set of Rough Country seat covers on the forum last year. I plan on buying Bartact covers once they make a set that fit the 4xe rear seat.
