My 2.5" non-HD springs gave me right at 2.5" in the rear (3.5" in the front) measured to the fender at the center of the wheel. At the time of install (8/23)I had a spare delete kit but had installed a Hooke Road cargo shelf which weighs about 40lbs. I added a spare tire back on along with a Mopar reinforcement and Teraflex carrier (94+14+19) for a net gain of 118 lbs (tire delete was 10 lbs) about 2 weeks ago and lost a solid 1/2". That's with a plastic rear bumper, which I'm also intending to swap out soon so I'll probably lose a little more. I was on the fence about the stance immediately after the initial install, thinking it really needed another 1/4" or so in the rear even without a spare tire installed.

All that said, the rear is definitely sitting low now and I'm considering swapping out for the HD springs, or possibly a set of helper bags. We took a trip last weekend and with our luggage and cooler it was obviously sitting even lower and I could immediately feel the difference in handling before I'd even left my neighborhood.

Good info.. by the time I get the cargo rack, roof rack, 4 rotopax cans and other overlanding crap in the trunk, the rear is going to sag much more than front.. Front sag is a static one, wont add much there after you are all done with bumper, winch and lighting. I think keeping a rake and having the rear higher is the best thing for 4xes much more so than gas JLUs.. the 800lb battery just eats up the spring rates :D

Agreed. You might even have a case for a 1.5" front spring with a 2.5" HD rear spring depending on how often you're going to carry that load. If you can stomach the cost, the AccuAir kit might also be a reasonable option for you with it's automatic load-leveling capabilities. I almost pulled the trigger on it, and still occasionally wish I had, but damn it's spendy...

Yeah that is a lot of dough to spend.. In the worst case, I would use all the control arms and trackbar from clayton and order the spring set from the new version of Mopar 2" lift which has 4xe specific springs. IMO thats the best value for money thing from the mopar kit.. not the 5160 shocks :D

That could be a good plan! I briefly considered the Mopar kit but it's so lacking in parts that are really needed that it just wasn't worth it and I knew I was installing it myself so there was no warranty benefit to me.
