Would like to get a list of all the major clearance areas to check after installing a lift, including cable stretch, when steering wheel is at L/R lock, sway bar connected vs not, etc etc.

Maybe this could be a sticky, like curing DW? Or is there a simple answer like “disconnect your swaybar and jack up or crawl onto ramps/rock until XYZ and check here, here, and here”?

Goal is to find and address areas of potential concern now when home and clean vs in the middle of the woods!

What lift? And what’s the extended length of your shocks ?

Clayton 1.5” coils

Bilstein 5100 shocks
Front: Collapsed Length: 17.07 inches, Extended Length: 26.88 inches
Rear: Collapsed Length: 18.33 inches, Extended Length: 29.38 inches

Still on factory rims with 285-70 tires but looking to upgrade to 35x11.5, undecided on either new rims or spacers

You don’t have to worry about much then…..just droop the axle, and look at breather tube, fad connector, locker harnesses if applicable, and brake lines. You may want to unhook the brake line from the lcas but you’ll be able to tell once you cycle the axle…. In the rear it’s just diff breather and brake lines, no need to reroute Ebrake lines for 1.5” lift….With that size extended length shocks you should be good…..be sure to look at your sway bar lengths, you’d like to see the sway bar at worst case level, but ideally slightly pointing up ( 7-10 degree ish, not set in stone , anywhere around there) no need to worry about driveshaft at this point…….If you go up in tire size then you’ll want to cycle the suspension to set bumps…… other than that, enjoy it…….

Awesome thanks!

Should have mentioned but do any of those answers change ince I got nearly 3” from those coils? May go down a bit if/as I add weight.

Brake lines are already off the front LCA

Added 2” bump stops since I was already in there

Added longer sway bar links from the Mopar lift kit

Also have a set of Rubicon fenders if the 35s get too close

Things won’t change to much, it’s basically droop and see, mostly it’s just pulling loose a couple plastic clips……
