After reading all the stories about ESS faults and being stranded on the side of the road, a discussion about fuses not being fully seated in the fuse box came up. Easy enough, I'll just trot right on out there and see for myself. Sure enough, at least 80% of the fuses and relays were not fully seated in their sockets. Do yourself a favor and check it out real quick, it doesn't take 5 minutes to do.

I'm gonna check them all first thing. Sounds like one of the best ways to avoid potential electrical problems, to the best of ones ability.

Thanks to this forum that’s the first thing I did at the dealership when I picked it up. About 10 or so we’re not pushed in completely

This was brilliant. Thank you.

I've added this to my delivery checklist. :like:

• Check fuses and relays. Make sure they are all seated.

Wonder if these fuse boxes are assembled in Mexico? They are upset about the USA renegotiating NAFTA so they decided to cause havoc on the electrical system. LOL.
