My JLUS 20 got engine light on, I drop to the dealership the night, but they were closed then.
I was able to speak with them this morning, they said they are really busy with winter tire, and no guarantee they can look at it even leave the key there for a day.
So I picked up my car and want to test the alarm myself, I disabled battery for 10s and the light is never up again, then drive to work. On my way to work, nothing happened. The car was driving all ok yesterday or today, nothing different noticed. By now I am pretty settled is all gonna be false alarm.

I told the dealership I can leave the car tomorrow whole day when i get out, but my question is will they be able to read the code history for me even I clear the light? It is warranty work anyway, but if they are unable to find anything (by me clearing light) then no point to do it.

Places like O'Rieleys or Auto Zone will read the codes for free and as soon as you pull up, no waiting.
