My check engine light just came on and I have 6 active codes. I don’t notice any drivability issues. There is possibly an engine stumble around 1800rpm. But maybe I’m making it up in my head. I do have random electrical issues that I have always attributed to the first year JL. There are plenty of TSBs on my 999999 mileage, rear camera intermittently working, random other things like compass not being reliably available. I have never had a check engine light illuminate. Any help is appreciated. The codes are below.

Have you driven through any water lately? Best case scenario, your battery is getting old. Worst case scenario, a mouse is eating your wiring harness. Check fuses F100 and F34 to make sure they are all still good.

The battery is less than two years old. I don’t have a way to stress test it tonight but the voltage reads good. I just checked the two fuses and they are good. I have been off-roading it nonstop in Moab for the last 5 days. That included smaller water crossings but that was like 6” deep (steel bender).

I went and got the battery tested and it passed. Then went to dinner and… check engine light went away. So it hurts to say but it’s a jeep thing and I’m not a fan. Last years spring break trip was interrupted with failed rocker that ate a camshaft.

P1621 is your CEL. Ignore the rest. It's stating you have a short on the an o2 sensor return circuit. Since the code went away it might just be a failing sensor

Hopefully they are gone for good. A year ago I had:

Jeep Wrangler JL Check Engine Codes C0513 C050d C0507 C0501 P1621 U0010 1775837402299-xh

during my drive home from work. I parked it, cried, and then the next day they were gone (and have never returned). Knock on wood.

The only fault that matters here is the P1621. Check your O2 sensors for oil contamination. If it comes back, look into it harder. It’s not “a jeep thing”. “A jeep thing” is the wind blowing you around on the highway. It’s not oxygen sensor failure.
