Is there a CarPlay weather radar? I want to see what I am driving into.

Not that I've seen. As things get updated or become compatible, it should show up on the main menu with the other apps. I know the latest version of the NHL app just showed up as selectable for streaming from Car Play dashboard, whereas I used to have to launch the game streams directly from my phone.

No, none at the moment. Apple’s API allows it, but no weather app has yet to take advantage.

FWIW, I find the paid version of Carrot to be the best weather app for iPhone. You can setup shortcuts and ask Siri to run them while driving. e.g. if I say “rain report” Carrot will tell me the likelihood of getting wet when my top is down.

I wonder if MyRadar pro would do it. They seem like a dynamic company. And the app is great thats what I use.

The uConnect 8.4 4C Nav radio has weather available if you have SiriusXM (manual p. 126). You may also have SiriusXM Travel Link app (manual p.134). The weather map shows fronts, wx radar etc. with five day forecasts.

And it gives you constant, annoying weather alerts for cities 300 miles away... I bought a Tazer and disabled it!

We don’t get those alerts here in Canada.

This gives me what I was looking for Radar Weather,
apps, travel link, weather map, gives me weather radar
I do have SXM and will keep it in the Jeep.
