I have a 2021 392 that I purchased in October 2021 and when I am using Apple CarPlay the music will just cut out or the phone call I am on cuts out and then I have to unplug the phone and plug it back in to get it going again. It will happen multiple times on one phone call. I have searched and cannot find a fix for this. I have tried different wires and different ports and it occurs no matter the wire or the port I am using. Has anyone else experienced this or know of a fix? Jeep has been useless and this has been occurring since Day 1 of owning the vehicle. Thanks in advance.

What software/ application version do you have? There is a software update that should fix that. Press the front defrost and drivers side temp up and down buttons, all 3 at the same time to see the software revs. Check out the list of bug fixes at https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...the-latest-version-without-bricking-it.82442/

In my 21 JLR I have that problem, if I have my phone plugged in the USB port in the arm rest… I’ve since plugged into the front media station usb-c port & have been using it flawlessly since months. Not sure if they have a update for the arm rest/console as of yet. I honestly forgot about it.

Are you using an Apple cable or one from a third party? I’ve had issues like that in vehicles when I’ve used a third party/aftermarket cable to connect the iPhone. No issues at all if a use an Apple cable.

I have tried both Apple and third party cables and the issue is the same. I am going to try the front port where the USB-C port is and see if I have better luck there. Just insane to me that this issue in some capacity has existed for four years and Jeep can't figure it out. I had many U-Connect issues on my 18 JL which I bought not long after the JL's were released. Nothing but headaches with U-Connect. But I am sure the Wagoneer and its 100k price tag will get the best version they can think up while the Wrangler continues to suffer.

Report back trying the USB-C front port. That’s the one I’m using in my 2021 JL 4xe and it’s worked great.

It is the application version that is important. V39.6. What application version do you have?
Where do I see which application I have ? I know my wife did an OTA update like a month ago as she’s more tech savvy than me, but not sure what that did.
