I have a hitch mounted cargo carrier and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for cargo boxes. I was thinking for some small trips I would load up some basic storage bins from Costco but for longer road trips I’m looking for something with a little more protection if I wanted to put clothes or other items in that are more vulnerable to rain/elements. I have a 2dr so the max weight is 200lbs on the back which makes something like a pelican a bit of a downside as they are really heavy. Would appreciate recommendations on anything that has worked well for camping/overlanding/travel.

I use old bicycle tire tubes like a big rubber band on top of normal bins with a lid from any retailer. This holds the lid on and is dry storage so far. Simple and cheap!
