Hello all,

I will soon be installing the Midland MXT275 GMRS radio inside my JLUR. I have everything I need bu the only mount I could find to mount the UHF/NMO antenna is "on backorder for a month wait":
https://www.4wd.com/p/rugged-radios-antenna-mount-driver-side-mt-ant-jeep-ds/_/R-HKYN-MT-ANT-JEEP-DS

Instead, I'm looking at this option, but not sure if this would work as well.

We have a Jeep trail trip coming up in a few short weeks and I wanted to get everything installed and tested ASAP:)

Any suggestions or advice, please?

I just the topsy bracket, the Midland antenna, and this NMO cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07CSP45D2?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I'm installing both a GMRS and a ham radio so I have two sets of the bracket and cable. One for each side of the hood. I'll be running a Kenwood TM-V71 radio for the ham.

I'm waiting on a couple other bits but will probably set up the antennas this weekend.

We have GMRS (NMO) front mount kits available and ship the same day. Also, we have some packages with the Midland antenna and coax (NMO) that can save you some money. Our front-mount antenna bracket can mount in one of two (cowl) locations on either side of the Jeep - for a total of 4 possible mount locations for you to choose from.

Do you make any mounts that will mount on the spare tire carrier? Want to get my antenna up high if possible.
