Can someone identify this wire?

This wire is terminated like this under the hood of my 2018 Jeep jl on the battery side. It runs over to a taped factory harness well under the brake fluid resivoir area.
Does anyone know what this wire was meant for? It's probably 10 gauge. Thank you!

Zoom out maybe. The ES-1 marking on the heat shrink tubing is probably just the manufacturers labeling for the heat shrink itself. Can you try following the wiring to see where it originates and leads? What color is the wire? Do you have factory auxiliary switches, or any added switches or electrical accessories?
