Looks like you are missing an air filter box screw, but that isn't it.

Good catch. I had that box off when I took that picture.

check your bracket for your hood prop...should have two bolts just like that. I can see how one of those would end up in the battery area.

I think the mystery is solved. It is the same screws used for hood props.

Same part number as the screws that hold the spring to the hood.

Wow, 3 bucks for a little metric bolt that you can get at TSC for about a quarter?
