Thank god I'm not the only one who didn't know where this went. It's too small to be a floor mat. I assumed ut was something for my soft top (that i havent installed yet).

It’s the trunk cubby liner. Goes into the bottom of your storage under the floor in the back.

Jeep should have just installed it in its intended place of use, instead of just tossing it in the back and closing the window.
like Jasper says, it's the liner for the hidden storage compartment.
My jeep came the same way.

Unless you have a 2-door with the Alpine Premium Audio system in which case the subwoofer is installed in that cubby and consumes the entire cubby with no room for anything else. My 2021 2-door has the Alpine system yet my jeep still came with this rubber cubby floor liner but I can't use it.
