Our 2 door Wrangler passenger seat is stuck forward, tried the 3/8 extension got it to release but couldn’t get the extension out! Worked on it again and not the extension hack doesn’t work! Ordered replacement parts but I was wondering if anyone figured out how to bypass the release system? I don’t have a problem readjusting the seat if it means I can use the seat! 😡

Has a dealer replaced your components? There was one of those not-quite-a-recall things where they'll replace them since there's a known defect. It can happen to the driver's side, too

Is this limited to a specific time period of 2 door production?

This one says it " applies to vehicles built on and after **August 15, 2022 (MDH 0815XX) and on or before May 24, 2023 (MDH 0524XX)** that are Two Door vehicles (Sales Code 5ZS)."
It seems like other time periods have been affected, but I'm not sure about it

There's a couple different ways the seats break - maybe this is the solution this time... https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/how-to-fix-stuck-jeep-jl-seat.100631/
