We need to do pilot rock. I’ve only done the easy side because none of my friends have the balls you carry on you !
It's gonna have to wait until the fall. I leave for the Rubicon in the morning. When I get back, my wife has back surgery and I'll have to stick around the house for a couple months to help.

I’d be down this Fall for trying all the offshoots on Pilot Rock. šŸ‘ It has a very Cleghorn vibe.

Last time I was there our leader kept it mellow as he had advertised it as an easy run, but I was thinking ā€˜I gotta get back here another day and flex things out’. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...ou-do-with-your-jeep-today.10720/post-3153581

Maybe. But they opened Cleghorn just weeks after that burned on the east end. There was still ash blowing around. But it'll be ungly and gray like the moon.
Officially, the mountain bike trails in Big Bear have been closed for years now.

"Officially"
